To act as a first point of contact for personal and telephone callers to our General Office, ensuring that all enquiries are processed effectively and efficiently. To perform a range of administrative tasks in support of the clinical team.
What will you be doing?
Handling and redirecting calls from patients, University departments and NHS organisations.
Responding to a broad range of information requests, in person, by telephone and online.
Scanning and filing correspondence from other healthcare organisations.
Booking appointments for specialist services.
You should apply if
- experience of working as part of a team in a busy environment.
- experience of multi-tasking and of managing competing demands effectively.
- experience of processing incoming written and verbal information quickly and accurately.
- Experience of working in a customer facing role where communications may have to be handled with tact and sensitivity.
Work pattern: Monday to Wednesday, 8.30-4.30pm (21 hours per week)
