CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR - FROME VALLEY MEDICAL CENTRE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Contracts Team at Frome Valley Medical Centre.  If you have good, all round administration skills alongside strong IT skills then you are the person we are looking for.  We need someone who can work independently to deadlines and is able to prioritise and use their own initiative to help the team and therefore the Practice, reach it targets.

We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual to take on this is interesting and varied role.  The work will include:

Organising and coordinating vaccinations and immunisations for patients

  • Assisting with coordinating Long Term Condition annual reviews which will include contacting patients and booking them in with the appropriate clinician
  • Running searches within EMIS to identify patients due an interim review and contact them to book, if appropriate
  • Responsibility for actioning the Team’s Docman tasks
  • Carrying out EMIS searches to identify coding anomalies and actioning as appropriate
  • Responsibility for the weekly clinical room plan and distributing as required
  • Attending Practice meetings and Team meetings
  • Contributing to the team, offering support to, and seeking support from colleagues wherever necessary

Primary Care experience is desirable but not essential.

The role is a full-time permanent position - 37.5hrs per week, but part time/flexible working may be considered.
