First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) MSK Band 7 - Mendip Vale

Multiple positions in Bristol and North Somerset

The team at Mendip Vale Medical Group (MVMG) delivers a Partner led service across North Somerset and Bristol. Serving around 60,000 patients across 7 sites we have a high calibre workforce of over 250 staff delivering innovative care.

As a high-achieving and well-organised practice, we embrace a Multi-Disciplinary Team approach to care provision.

Changes made from merging and working more effectively have enabled us to make investment into our buildings. The Langford site is an impressive modern facility, purpose built in 2013, with great parking and equipment. The St Georges site is a wonderful 2012 purpose built surgery with all the facilities to make your working environment enjoyable. Sunnyside Surgery is well placed in Clevedon with an attached pharmacy, serving patients living in Clevedon and the surrounding villages. Our Helios Surgery is located in Clifton, with onsite parking and a light and airy feel. We have just refurbished our Yatton surgery and are extending our Monks Park site with the latest design fit for the provision of modern health care, making our estate one of the newest and brightest in the south west.

We are currently looking to add to our First Contact Physiotherapy service. As an Advanced MSK Physiotherapy Practitioner in Primary Care you will be providing clinical expertise, diagnostics and decision making to manage adult MSK patients. This will involve seeing patients without prior contact with their GP as the first point of contact. If you are an experienced and motivated MSK physiotherapist, who is passionate about Primary Care and the First Contact Physiotherapist role, this could be the post for you.

We offer a competitive package with NHS pension, study leave and 30 days annual leave. Access to CPD funding, Clinical Supervision in line with the HEE First Contact Physiotherapy Roadmap and support from a mentor are just some of the benefits of working within Mendip Vale Medical Group.
