An exciting new opportunity has arisen for BrisDoc to seek a Head of Primary Care to develop and lead the integration of the company’s daytime GP practices.
BrisDoc is an award winning primary care provider with over 16 years’ experience of delivering high quality urgent and routine care in the Bristol region. As a growing healthcare provider, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative Head of Primary care to take operational leadership responsibility and work with the deputy medical director to develop strategy in line with the national GP Practice Forward View for our daytime GP Practices.
BrisDoc provides a number of healthcare services for the NHS including GP Out of Hours, Daytime GP Practices in Broadmead Medical Centre, Northville Family Practice, Bishopston Medical Practice (from 10/02/2018), Charlotte Keel Medical Practice (from 01/04/2018), the Homeless Health Service, and an Acute GP team based in two Bristol Acute Hospital Trusts. Serving a combined registered patient list of more than 40,000 people, you will be accountable for an operational delivery team of more than 80 staff members. You will be responsible for achieving high standards of service delivery and ensuring that all performance and quality indicators are met. In the early stages of your role, you will play a key role in a major transformation programme, centred around the integration of Bishopston and Charlotte Keel practices into our existing practice portfolio. This is a fantastic chance to transform our current models of care, helping us to realise the economies of working at scale whilst taking care to focus on the people side of change, focusing on delivering new models of care and localised continuity of care, underpinned by larger scale back office efficiencies and clinical resilience.
Successful candidates will be motivated by the provision of high quality patient, workforce and resource care, have proven ability to lead and manage primary medical services and staff, and experience of managing and delivering complex programmes of change.
