Nurse Prescriber - University of Bristol Students Health

The role

 

University of Bristol Students’ Health Service is a GP practice for University students and their dependents. We are looking to recruit a Nurse Prescriber to work 3 days per week (to include a Friday, other days negotiable). Some working on a Saturday or evening (approximately 7 hours per quarter year) is also required.

Students’ Health Service is a Covid secure working environment and currently patients are assessed remotely (by telephone / video) before they are given a face to face appointment if required.

 

What will you be doing?

 

The clinical role includes telephone triage, decision making, treatment and issuing prescriptions as required, assessment of minor illness and injury, chronic disease management, wound care, immunisations, sexual health and contraception.

 

You should apply if

 

You are an experienced Nurse Prescriber, with excellent proven clinical skills within a Primary Care setting, and ideally with experience or knowledge relevant to working with the student age group.

Grade: J

Salary: £38,017 - £42,792 per annum, pro rata
