As a growing healthcare provider in the Bristol region, we are seeking a salaried Pharmacist to join our multi-disciplinary team in providing high quality patient care in Charlotte Keel Health Centre. In this role, you will manage repeat prescription (re)authorisations, acute prescription requests, management of medicines on transfer of care and systems for safer prescribing; perform face-to-face medication reviews of patients with polypharmacy; and, provide leadership on quality improvement and clinical audit.

Successful applicants in this role will have previous experience of working in primary care to develop and manage medicines optimisation services; have a masters degree in clinical pharmacy, and be an independent prescriber. Post-graduate diploma is desirable.

  • Hours: full-time i.e. 37.5 hours on average per week
  • Salary Guide: £36,000.00 – £45,000.00 (pro rata) subject to qualifications and experience
  • Other benefits: NHS Pension (offering 14.38% employers contribution), eligible for discretionary bonus, full indemnity provided, clinical mentoring available
  • Location: Charlotte Keel Health Centre – Easton
  • Commencement: 1st June 2018
