Practice Nurse Clinical Lead - The Family Practice

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practice Nurse to join and help lead our team to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.  This role is now supported by an admin assistant.

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Practice Nurse ideally with a background in managing diabetes and possessing contraceptive skills or the desire to further their training in these areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide leadership to our excellent nursing team, including nurses, healthcare assistants (HCAs), a nursing associate, and a training registered nurse (RN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient running of the treatment room, ensuring high standards of care.
• Lead, manage, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Be creative in developing and implementing new initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Provide expert clinical care and advice in diabetes management and contraceptive services.
• Support and mentor team members, encouraging their growth and development in their roles.

About You:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in diabetes management as desirable and ideally contraceptive skills and an openness to developing these skills further.
• Proven leadership and management experience within a healthcare setting as desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for developing others and driving innovation in patient care.
