Hours: 30 hours per week
Responsible for the day to day supervision and management of the reception hub ensuring all functions are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols and time-scales.
Ensure that you work effectively with the Front Desk Supervisor ensuring effective organisation of reception.
Ensure that all reception staff work to agreed procedures and perform their role effectively. This will involve performance managing staff in an effective way.
Listening and responding to issues raised by the team.
Daily monitoring of appointments availability.
Monitoring of appropriate navigation.
Monitor E-consults and ensure they are navigated to appropriate appointments.
Coordinating annual leave requests and ensure adequate cover.
Attend staff meetings.
Ensure regular reception team meetings are held.
Communicate effectively with other team members and patients.
Deal with more complex queries from patients.
Deal with complaints from patients in accordance with the practice complaints procedure.
Motivate the reception team, feed back to the Deputy Practice Manager any ideas or concerns they may have.
