Urgent Care/ Home Visiting Nurse

This is a newly created post to work as part of our large skill mixed clinical team providing urgent same day care to our patient population of 13,500.

Our current nursing team work as part of the practice GP led, urgent same day team. This post develops the current urgent same day nursing role to include home visiting. The post holder would be expected to also provide surgery based urgent same day consultations as part of the practice team.

Full or part time hours, this could suit someone who is looking for work which would take place in school hours, worked ideally over 5 days.

We are looking for an autonomous nurse who is confident in an urgent care environment and ideally can offer some chronic disease skills. We have a good track record of supporting clinicians through the supplementary prescribing course and would offer this to any successful candidate who was not a prescriber.

Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience.
